This “Open Me When…” gift set is low prep and PERFECT for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Grandparents Day, family birthdays–you name it! This will be a great end of the year project that is thoughtful and creative. The best part about this is you can make it a daily writing station and have your plans SET for the last month of school while also working on a super meaningful gift for moms, dads, and grown-ups of your students.

Students will create a set of envelopes that will be given to a parent or family member as a gift for a special day. The envelopes will have labels for directions about when to open (for example: “Open when you miss me”). The contents range from poems to pictures to surveys and are student-created items that will brighten their loved ones’ days throughout the year! This is a gift that keeps on giving.
